Developing GPP criteria and tools to support the use of sustainable materials and construction techniques in the renovation of public buildings and social housing in Veneto
SMEs clusters, producers of construction materials, national and regional associations of builders will discuss with national Ministry of Environment and the regional sections of Urbanistic, Public works about the critical issues in the use of materials and will provide guidance with respect to develop technical specifications on the use of sustainable materials in the ecological renovation of public buildings with a focus on the indicator “indoor air quality”. Inputs for this discussion will be national GPP criteria, the regional initiative ECOMAKE and the good practices BAUBOOK.
Framework for the working table are the recent Communications “Resource efficiency opportunities in the building sector” (COM (2014) 445 final) and “Strategy for the sustainable competitiveness of the construction sector and its enterprises” (COM/2012/0433 final).
